Hoopdedoo! It’s time for the latest PJTV video, Klavan on the Culture. Today, the intrepid Klavan, whoever he is, tries to understand the liberal mindset, an expedition into the heart of darkness worthy of Stanley Livingstone, whoever he is. Justin Folk, whoever he is, provided the visuals. That’s his actual brain onscreen.

Bravissimo!
Brilliant, wonderful and VERY funny.
You may not have realized it at the time your produced this, but you provided me with both a visual and concisely worded Synopsis of the Feb 25 Obama Summit. Thank you Andrew.
Often I find myself asking, if conservatives favor limited government, lower taxes, and the like, then do liberals believe in big government and higher taxes? What are liberals and Democrats even about?
Thanks so much for answering my question. This was PERFECT.
I enjoyed this and thought it was spot on. But it would have been more useful for sharing with my liberal friends without the “supercilious twits” theme. Not saying it’s not true in a lot of cases.
Awesome!
This is hilarious. Great job. I love the laughing elitists having better ideas than the rest of us. That was the essence of wit.
Andrew proves that satire is not a dying art, and the best satire is by conservatives. We laugh because it’s true. Good job.
I agree with Lars. As much as I adore this, I can’t share it with my liberal friends, thanks to the “supercilious twits” theme. This is great “in house” entertainment, but I DO wish there was somebody out there explaining this stuff, this well, and with this much humor… without slipping into personal attack mode (no matter how appropriate it may be!).
Hilarious! And, sadly, too true. Having grown up to hippie parents in the 1960s and ’70s in San Francisco and now living in LA, all I know are liberals. I love ‘em with all my heart, but I can’t make sense of ‘em.
Because I grew up in this atmosphere, I organically voted Democratic until 9/11. Then I started questioning all my beliefs. Now I try to get my friends, when given the opportunity, to explain why, for instance, they don’t trust the govt in myriad of ways but want that same entity to take more of our hard-earned money and disperse it. I have asked my most liberal friend this question numerous times all he says is…”Ayhhh ssheeeessh… “, or something to that affect, before he changes the subject.
I wish I could show him this video, but he has such a venomous hatred for anything on the right he, or any or my friends, would not watch.
Yet, I’m told again and again, the conservatives are the intolerant ones.
Libs also believe that if they carpet bomb the culture (TV shows, papers, books and TV shows) with their views and opinions they will win elections by the sheer volume of their output. They destroyed Bush, are in the process of destroying Palin, and are doing their best to make big spending the only way to solve problems.
