Was happy to get a nice nod in a New York Magazine feature called “If You Liked My Book, You’ll Like These.” Editor extraordinaire Otto Penzler was asked for suggestions to compliment his new espionage anthology Agents of Treachery, which features my short story “Sleeping with My Assassin.” Along with works by the incomparable John Le Carre and Eric Ambler, Otto was kind enough to include my own Empire of Lies in his recommendations.
