Most Important Story of the Week

in politics

Oh, sure, sure, you probably think it was this brilliant, essential examination of the Obama administration by Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall Street Journal.  Ha, I say!  And did I remember to say:  Ha?

You must have missed this winner from Right Wing News:  “The 20 Hottest Conservative Women.”  Appearing at the occasional winger confab, I have repeatedly remarked that, if I were younger and sort of more, you know, not married, I would become a conservative for the girls alone.  Brilliant and effective but also beautiful, lady-like and charming, they are living proof that conservatism is good for living creatures.

Tough Crowd: Megyn Doesn't Make the Cut.

As for the list…   PJTV’s own Dana Loesch, a lady so attractive I’ve even learned to spell her last name, is on there, as is Ann Coulter, a beauty inside and out.  Can’t leave out Laura Ingraham.  Or SE Cupp.  And Michelle Oddis interviewed me on the phone last week:  Michelle, it goes without saying, if I’d known you were that attractive, I would’ve been much nicer to you.

The comments at the bottom of the piece supply a lot of the women who’ve been unforgivably left off.

Some people – jealous liberals mostly – have said that this sort of list demeans women.  At least, I think that’s what they were saying.  Frankly, I was too busy looking at the pictures to pay much attention.

Ah, easy on the eyes AND the intellect!

Thanks for linking to the Rabinowitz article, I’d missed it earlier this week. Coincidentally, Mark Steyn’s article this week makes essentially the same points. The Presidency is simply beneath him. It’s all gold, but my favorite passage:

“He’s the first president to give off the pronounced whiff that he’s condescending to the job – that it’s really too small for him, and he’s just killing time until something more commensurate with his stature comes along.”

Love your site, and thank you for your fearless voice!!

In fairness, Andrew, Megyn Kelly didn’t make the cut because TV isn’t New Media. :-)

On a more serious (?) note, thank you so much for your interview series with Peter Robinson on “Uncommon Knowledge.” I particularly appreciated your comment that you came to accept Christianity because the world in which you find yourself makes more sense when viewed through that lens than when not. It’s been on my mind ever since.

Dana Loesch is eye-poppingly gorgeous.

Paul, I first discovered Andrew on Peter Robinson’s show, too. I remember thinking, “Why aren’t there more guys like THIS representing the right? This guy is brilliant, moral, fearless and a completely original thinker. We NEED him!” I still love reading Andrew’s thoughts on the culture (which is SO much more important than politics, I believe), but posts like this one seem beneath him. He’s so much smarter and better than than this. I’m disappointed. (Of course, that’s probably just because I didn’t make the list :-) )
