Paul, I first discovered Andrew on Peter Robinson’s show, too. I remember thinking, “Why aren’t there more guys like THIS representing the right? This guy is brilliant, moral, fearless and a completely original thinker. We NEED him!” I still love reading Andrew’s thoughts on the culture (which is SO much more important than politics, I believe), but posts like this one seem beneath him. He’s so much smarter and better than than this. I’m disappointed. (Of course, that’s probably just because I didn’t make the list )

In fairness, Andrew, Megyn Kelly didn’t make the cut because TV isn’t New Media.

On a more serious (?) note, thank you so much for your interview series with Peter Robinson on “Uncommon Knowledge.” I particularly appreciated your comment that you came to accept Christianity because the world in which you find yourself makes more sense when viewed through that lens than when not. It’s been on my mind ever since.

Ah, easy on the eyes AND the intellect!

Thanks for linking to the Rabinowitz article, I’d missed it earlier this week. Coincidentally, Mark Steyn’s article this week makes essentially the same points. The Presidency is simply beneath him. It’s all gold, but my favorite passage:

“He’s the first president to give off the pronounced whiff that he’s condescending to the job – that it’s really too small for him, and he’s just killing time until something more commensurate with his stature comes along.”
